December 2025 : ACG Capsules, a division of the world’s largest integrated manufacturer of empty capsules, has recently announced the appointment of Rajesh Kumar as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). The strategic appointment underscores ACG’s commitment to driving operational excellence and accelerating growth in its capsules business.
Rajesh Kumar joins the ACG family bringing with him over three decades of leadership experience cultivated across diverse, high-stakes sectors, including beverages, food, nutraceuticals, and chemicals. He is widely recognized as a results-driven leader with a proven track record of spearheading operational excellence, sustainability, and transformative growth.
Prior to joining ACG, Kumar served as the Chief Technical Officer and Head of India Operations at Varun Beverages Ltd. His extensive career also includes significant senior leadership roles at major industry players such as United Breweries, EID Parry, Mars International, Pepsi Foods, GSK Consumer Healthcare, and ICI India Ltd.
Mr. Kumar is known for his strong technical expertise, strategic vision, and ability to build and inspire high-performing teams. His academic foundation is equally impressive; he is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur, where he earned his B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering. His experience, which includes leading the manufacturing and supply chain P&L for large-scale operations and championing operational excellence, positions him perfectly to steer ACG Capsules toward new heights of global competitiveness and innovation.
