November 2025 : In a significant move poised to strengthen its market position, Cilvina Pereira joins SKF India as the new Head of Marketing and Communication for its Automotive Business. This key appointment comes at a time when SKF India is strategically focusing on the rapidly evolving mobility sector, including EVs and two-wheelers, following the recent demerger of its industrial and automotive verticals.

Pereira's professional background is marked by over a decade and a half of progressive experience across top-tier industrial and automotive companies. Prior to her current role at SKF, she was at Walter Tools. Before Walter Tools, Pereira sharpened her expertise in the automotive sector at General Motors and an earlier stint at HSBC Software, giving her a strong grounding in both B2B and corporate communication strategies.

On the academic front, Pereira pursued the Advanced Programme for Senior Marketing Professionals at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. She also holds a Diploma in Creative Writing from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
