November 2025 : Daimler Commercial Vehicles Manufacturing Indonesia (DCVMI) has announced a significant leadership transition, appointing Shravan T as its new President Director. Shravan T succeeds Sankaranarayanan Ramamurthi, who has returned to Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) following a successful tenure leading DCVMI.
Shravan T brings extensive, diverse experience from his time with Daimler Truck, which he joined in 2009. His career foundation is firmly rooted in Procurement and Supplier Management, complemented by diverse leadership roles across India, Japan, and Thailand.
Prior to his current role, Shravan T served as Associate Vice President - Procurement & New Parts Development (Vehicle Aggregates) at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV). In this role, he was responsible for strategic sourcing and new parts development for India and Indonesia, managing a substantial spend of ~$0.5 billion.
Shravan T’s academic background includes an M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka and a B.E. in Industrial Engineering & Management from MSRIT.
His career spanning over 20 years, including 9 years and 9 months at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, has seen him hold significant positions, including Manager roles at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation in Japan and General Manager at Daimler Commercial Vehicles Thailand. This global exposure, combined with his Procurement and Engineering expertise, positions him uniquely to drive DCVMI's strategic vision.
Sankaranarayanan Ramamurthi returns to DICV as the Head Manufacturing Engg, Plant Engg & Chief Sustainability Officer.
