June 2026 : Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (DFPCL) has recently appointed Rajib Bhattacharjee as President. Stepping into his role in Pune, his leadership arrives at a pivotal moment as DFPCL continues its expansion in the chemical and fertilizer sectors, where his deep expertise in specialty chemicals is expected to unlock substantial new market opportunities.

With over 25 years of industry experience, Bhattacharjee career took flight at Thermax, followed by a stint at ICI India and Croda. He then dedicated over 13 years to The Lubrizol Corporation, scaling the ranks from Business Head for Beauty & Homecare to Global Market Manager for Health. Most recently, he served as the Vice President at Galaxy Surfactants Limited before making his current transition to DFPCL.

Bhattacharjee holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from NIT Trichy and has also completed the ICI Management Program.
