January 2026 : Eaton has recently announced the appointment of Binod Muni as the new Managing Director of its Electrical Business in India. A seasoned leader with a career spanning over two decades, Muni steps into the role at a pivotal time as the power management giant seeks to accelerate its footprint in one of the world’s fastest-growing energy markets.

Since joining Eaton in 2024, Muni has rapidly ascended within the organization, previously serving as the Country Head of Sales and Marketing and Senior Sales Director. In his new capacity, he is tasked with driving "sustained exponential growth," with a sharp focus on expanding market share and strengthening operational excellence across the subcontinent.

Muni’s trajectory is a masterclass in professional evolution. A Chartered Accountant by training, he began his career in the finance trenches with blue-chip giants like Nestlé, Walmart, and Carrefour. Before joining Eaton, Muni spent over 13 years at Schneider Electric, where he served as Sales Director and Director of Finance for National Sales.

His leadership style is underpinned by an elite educational background. In addition to being an ICAI member, Muni completed an Advanced Strategic Management program at IIM Calcutta and the Transformation Senior Leadership program at INSEAD.
