January 2026 : Garware Technical Fibres Limited (GTFL), a leading global player in the technical textiles sector, has recently appointed Poonam Gupta as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This strategic appointment marks a significant milestone for the organization as it gears up for its next phase of global growth and cultural evolution.

Gupta, an industry veteran with over two decades of experience, joins the GTFL leadership team following a highly successful tenure in international HR leadership. The transition comes after Gupta spent nearly 15 years at Metso Corporation, where she served as VP, Region HR for the MEI (Middle East & India) and APAC regions. Before her decade-and-a-half at Metso, she spent over 11 years at Genpact as AVP - HR.

Her professional journey is backed by an elite educational background, including Executive Management from IMD and Executive Leadership Management from INSEAD.
