January 2026 : In a move to further fortify its operational excellence and industrial strategy, Havells India Ltd. has recently announced the appointment of Peeyush Agarwal as its new Head - Manufacturing Engineering. Agarwal, a recognized leader in global operations and supply chain transformation, transitions to the electrical equipment giant following a high-impact career in the automotive sector.

Agarwal joins Havells with 16 years of rigorous experience. He is widely regarded as a specialist in driving large-scale transformation, having successfully led new product development (NPD), greenfield plant setups, and manufacturing excellence initiatives.

Peeyush Agarwal’s 16-year career spans leadership roles at India’s top engineering firms. At Havells India, he leads manufacturing strategy following a strategic stint at JBM Group. His decade-long tenure at Hero MotoCorp saw him spearhead greenfield plants and NPD, building on earlier foundational successes in production and process engineering at Ashok Leyland and Tata Motors.

His leadership is backed by a stellar academic background. Agarwal holds an Executive MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) - University of Delhi and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela. ____________________________________________________________________________
