March 2026 : Hector Beverages, the parent company behind the popular ethnic drinks brand Paper Boat, has recently announced the appointment of Abhishek P as its new Head - Engineering & Digital Transformation. The move signals a strategic push by the beverage major to modernize its manufacturing footprint and accelerate its digital roadmap.

Abhishek joins Hector Beverages with a career spanning over 13 years, characterized by a deep mastery of large-scale infrastructure and operational excellence. Prior to this appointment, Abhishek spent over 12 years at ITC Limited. His portfolio included the implementation of advanced HVAC systems, biomass boiler installations, and comprehensive plant utility upgrades across multiple Indian factories. Abhishek’s career began at Rajshree Sugars and Chemicals Ltd as a Senior Process Executive. His subsequent decade-long journey through the ranks at ITC saw him evolve from a Manufacturing Executive to Senior Manufacturing Engineer and Assistant Operations Manager, eventually leading complex remote projects.

A Chemical Engineer by training, Abhishek holds a Bachelor of Technology from Sri Venkateswara University. To complement his technical foundation, he earned a Postgraduate Degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management with distinction from the Welingkar Institute of Management.
