September 2026 : Hubergroup has recently announced the appointment of Sandeep Baxla as its new Head of Supply Chain - India. Operating from Mumbai, Baxla steps into the role with a clear mandate to elevate, transform, and establish an agile, resilient, and future-ready supply chain network across the region.

Bringing over 33 years of core cross-industry expertise across lubricants, adhesives, and agrochemicals, Baxla’s career reflects a continuous trajectory of building high-performing operations at country, regional, and global levels. His expertise spans the full spectrum of modern supply chain management, including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), network optimization, digital transformation, and sustainable sourcing strategies.

Baxla’s vast professional journey spans executive roles at leading global and domestic enterprises. Most recently, he served at Indofil Industries Limited for over eight years. Prior to that, he led regional supply chain operations as Head of Supply Chain - India Sub-Continent at Henkel, and held key leadership positions at Castrol India Limited and BP Lubricants. His foundational years included impactful roles at Raychem RPG (P) Ltd., RPG Enterprises, and Engineers India Limited.

Baxla holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and a PGDBM in Operations from XLRI Jamshedpur. He has also completed executive education at IIM Ahmedabad and holds a certified CSCP designation from APICS.
