January 2026 : In a move set to redefine the infrastructure of the intelligence age, Lenovo and NVIDIA have unveiled a massive expansion of their partnership: the Lenovo AI Cloud Gigafactory with NVIDIA. Announced at Tech World @ CES 2026 inside the iconic Sphere in Las Vegas, the program aims to deliver AI at an unprecedented "giga-scale," moving enterprise workloads from concept to production in record-setting time.
The collaboration introduces a gigawatt-scale AI factory program designed to help cloud providers deploy next-generation AI environments in weeks rather than months. By focusing on Time to First Token (TTFT), the partnership ensures that AI investments translate into usable, revenue-generating services at high velocity.
“In the AI era, value is no longer measured by compute alone, but also by how fast it delivers results,” said Yuanqing Yang, Chairman and CEO of Lenovo. “Together, Lenovo and NVIDIA are pushing the boundaries of AI factories to the gigawatt level, simplifying deployment of cloud-scale infrastructure that moves AI intelligence into production faster, with greater efficiency and predictability.”
The program leverages the newly announced NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 flagship system and the NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra architecture. These systems are powered by Lenovo’s industry-leading Neptune™ liquid cooling technology, which allows for massive compute density without the typical energy bottlenecks.
Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, highlighted the universal shift toward this model: “As AI transforms every industry, companies in every country will build or rent AI factories to produce intelligence. Together, NVIDIA and Lenovo are delivering full-stack computing platforms that power agentic AI systems - from the cloud and on-premises data centers to the edge and robotic systems.”
As a $69 billion technology powerhouse serving 180 markets, Lenovo remains the only company offering fully in-house design, manufacturing, and global services for custom AI cloud solutions. This "Gigafactory" framework combines Lenovo’s global manufacturing footprint with NVIDIA's Spectrum-6 Ethernet and BlueField-4 DPUs to build a seamless, scalable ecosystem for physical and agentic AI.
With eight of the world’s top ten public cloud providers already powered by Lenovo, this partnership marks a giant leap toward making "Smarter Technology for All" a reality at the gigawatt level.
