November 2025 : Lumax Auto Technologies Limited (LATL), a prominent Tier-1 supplier to Indian automotive OEMs, officially inaugurated its state-of-the-art Technology Centre in Bengaluru. Named the 'Smart Hub for Innovation and Future Trends' (SHIFT), the facility represents a critical step in LATL’s strategy to dramatically accelerate its electronics engineering and digital capabilities, aligning with the global transition toward Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs).
The inauguration, attended by key leaders from major customers including Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, Hero MotoCorp, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, and TVS Motor Company, underscored the Lumax Group's deep relationships across the Indian automotive ecosystem.
SHIFT is set to become the nucleus for advanced research and product development, focusing on cutting-edge areas such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), in-cabin experiences, connectivity, and embedded electronics. The goal is to deliver next-generation, intelligent solutions tailored for modern automotive needs.

The centre is fully equipped with advanced electronics labs for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, rapid prototyping, and product validation, ensuring end-to-end innovation from concept to commercialization.
