February 2026 : The future of driving in India just got a major high-tech upgrade. Mobileye Global Inc. has officially announced a landmark partnership with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. to integrate its cutting-edge SuperVision™ and Surround ADAS technologies into at least six upcoming Mahindra models.
Scheduled for production starting in 2027, this collaboration marks a pivotal shift for the Indian automotive landscape. The program will utilize the powerful EyeQ6 High system-on-chip, consolidating perception, mapping intelligence, and parking features onto a single, efficient ECU.
Mahindra’s next-gen lineup will feature two distinct levels of autonomy, both designed to handle the unique complexities of Indian road conditions: ● SuperVision™: Utilizing 11 cameras and two EyeQ6H chips, this system offers point-to-point navigate-on-pilot (NOP) capabilities and advanced parking features. ● Surround ADAS: A 5-camera system that enables hands-off, eyes-on driving on highways under specific conditions.
Both platforms include integrated Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) to ensure safety remains the top priority. By acting as the Tier 1 supplier, Mobileye is helping Mahindra streamline its vehicle architecture while meeting the stringent safety standards of the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP).
As the world’s third-largest auto market, India is witnessing a surge in demand for smart safety features. This partnership isn't just about luxury; it’s about localized innovation.
Prof. Amnon Shashua, President and CEO of Mobileye, highlighted the significance of the move: “This nomination demonstrates Mahindra’s commitment to advanced safety technologies and strengthens Mobileye’s long-term investment in India as a strategic hub for ADAS localization and production. We see India as a key growth market for ADAS technologies, and this program sets the foundation for advanced solutions as well.”
With Mobileye’s technology already inside 230 million vehicles globally, this deal ensures Mahindra is well-positioned to compete on both a domestic and global stage.
