April 2026 : Milacron, a global powerhouse in plastics processing technologies, has recently announced a significant leadership update with the appointment of Suraj Thodimarath as Managing Director, India. The strategic move, effective March 2026, is set to bolster Milacron’s regional footprint and integrate world-class operational standards within the Indian market.

Suraj is widely recognized as a visionary leader with a knack for turning complex business challenges into high-performing success stories. Known for his "People First" philosophy, he arrived at Milacron during a pivotal era of automation and industrial evolution.

Suraj’s career is a masterclass in industrial leadership. Before joining Milacron, he spent over a decade as Managing Director (Asia Pacific) at Wittur Group. He also held roles such as Director of Operations at Danaher Corporation (Gilbarco Veeder-Root), Plant Manager at 3M India Limited, and Manufacturing Manager at NCR Corporation. His early career saw him honing his expertise at Visteon Corporation, Larsen & Toubro (L&T), and Godrej & Boyce.

On the academic front, Suraj is a Mechanical Engineer from Tamilnadu College of Engineering. He has consistently stayed ahead of the curve, completing the HBX CORe at Harvard Business School, a Lean Manufacturing program at the University of Michigan, and most recently, a certificate in Board Leadership in Artificial Intelligence & Governance from the National University of Singapore.
