March 2026 : In the fast-evolving landscape of industrial AI, the bridge between complex data and human action is often the hardest to build. Brisbane-based MOVUS just fortified that bridge by appointing Sanjeev Kumar as its new Chief Executive Officer. Effective immediately, Kumar takes the helm of the Infinite Uptime-owned company to accelerate the adoption of "Prescriptive AI" - a technology that doesn’t just tell you something is breaking, but exactly how to fix it without halting production.
While many companies have spent the last decade chasing predictive maintenance, Kumar argues that simply knowing a failure is coming isn't enough for the modern plant floor. Under his leadership, MOVUS aims to push its flagship platform, PlantOS, into the next frontier. By combining advanced sensing technology with AI-driven analytics, MOVUS helps heavy industries - from mining to food processing - secure near-continuous uptime. This human-centric approach to AI ensures that the technology serves the operators, not the other way around.
Kumar’s appointment is a homecoming within the Infinite Uptime family. Before stepping into the CEO role at MOVUS, he served as the Vice President and Business Head (ANZ) for Infinite Uptime, where he was instrumental in scaling industrial AI across mining, energy, and ports.
He built his career on a solid foundation in Electrical Engineering, but it’s the 18 years of hands-on experience that truly shaped him. From his early days in the field to leading teams at global giants like Infinite Uptime, Halma plc, and Festo, he’s spent nearly two decades turning complex technical challenges into real-world leadership
