January 2026 : National Engineering Industries Ltd. (NBC Bearings), the flagship of the multi-billion-dollar CKA Birla Group, has recently announced a landmark strategic partnership with Ahamani EV Technology India, the subsidiary of Taiwan’s Ahamani Advanced Inc. In a bold move into aerial mobility, NBC Bearings will invest in a 30% equity stake in Ahamani India to accelerate the adoption of next-generation drone technologies.
The collaboration fuses NBC’s decades of precision engineering and massive manufacturing scale with Ahamani’s cutting-edge drone platforms, power systems, and control electronics. The alliance is set to address the skyrocketing demand for high-performance drones across industrial, commercial, and defense sectors in India.
Ahamani India will serve as the primary platform for localized production, leveraging a technology base developed in Taiwan to deliver cost-effective, mission-ready solutions. By combining forces, the companies aim to shorten go-to-market timelines and solidify India’s position as a global hub for drone innovation under the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.
