March 2026 : In a significant move to dominate the rapidly evolving Indian lifting and logistics landscape, global leader PALFINGER and the TVS Mobility Group have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The partnership is designed to supercharge PALFINGER’s "Strategy 2030+" by leveraging TVS Mobility’s massive infrastructure and operational footprint in the region.
As India experiences a surge in construction, infrastructure modernization, and defense needs, the demand for specialized lifting solutions has never been higher. This collaboration focuses on three critical pillars: supply chain optimization, equipment rentals, and service network expansion.
TVS Mobility Group, a powerhouse with over 25,000 employees and $3 billion in collective revenue, provides PALFINGER with an unparalleled gateway to the Indian market. The partnership will explore diverse avenues including Free Trade Warehousing Zone (FTWZ) operations, dealership development, and defense-related opportunities.

The announcement comes on the heels of major milestones for PALFINGER in India, including the December 2025 opening of its Global Development Center (GDC) in Pune. Furthermore, the company has secured a plot in the Ranjangaon industrial zone for a future production plant, adhering to the principle of "in the region, for the region."
