July 2026 : The Procter & Gamble Company has recently named President and CEO Shailesh Jejurikar as Chairman of the Board, effective August 1, 2026. He assumes the expanded leadership role following the retirement of Executive Chairman Jon Moeller, who will step down from the Board on July 31, 2026, and officially retire from P&G on August 14, 2026, ending a stellar 38-year tenure.

Jejurikar’s career at Procter & Gamble - spans more than 37 years of home-grown leadership. After earning his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, he joined Procter & Gamble in 1989, India. Over the decades, he steadily rose through executive ranks across North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Prior to stepping into the President and CEO role in January 2026, he served as Chief Operating Officer and CEO of P&G’s largest sector, Fabric & Home Care, where he spearheaded powerhouse global brands such as Tide, Ariel, and Downy.

With this appointment, Jejurikar fully unites strategic operational guidance and board stewardship as P&G continues serving over 5 billion consumers across 180 countries.
