With over 25 years of experience in management consultancy and IT services, Bhattacharya transitions to the Mumbai-based role following a stellar tenure at Syngene International. His appointment comes at a pivotal moment for PI Industries, which recently refreshed its brand identity and is aggressively expanding its digital footprint across the agri-value chain. Bhattacharya is widely recognized for his ability to marry complex business needs with cutting-edge technology.

Samik Bhattacharya’s career is a masterclass in driving large-scale digital evolution across some of the most prominent names in technology and life sciences. His professional journey spans over 25 years, beginning at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) before moving to Infosys Technologies. He subsequently spent nearly 15 years in leadership at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). His more recent roles include Automation Anywhere, TCG Digital, Biocon Group. Prior to joining PI Industries Ltd as Vice President, he served as the Head of Digital Transformation at Syngene International. This deep industry expertise is anchored by a solid academic foundation: a B.Tech (Honors) in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from IIT Kharagpur
