September 2026 : Raghu Vamsi Group has recently appointed Amit Pathak as its new Group Chief Business Officer (CBO). In his new leadership role, Pathak will steer commercial strategy and market expansion across all five of the group’s core business divisions.

Pathak’s appointment arrives at a crucial turning point as Raghu Vamsi expands beyond precision manufacturing into two high-technology domains: advanced materials (including aerospace superalloys) and deep-tech autonomous systems, featuring unmanned platforms and indigenous micro turbojet propulsion. These new areas augment the group's established capabilities in precision OEM manufacturing, mission systems, propulsion, and aircraft systems MRO.

Pathak brings over 27 years of deep domain experience across global aerospace and defence leadership roles. He launched his career at Honeywell as an avionics engineer before leading engineering product development programs across India, Europe, and the US. He later expanded his operational and strategic track record at Cobham and served as General Manager and Board Member for Pratt & Whitney’s aircraft engines division in India. Most recently, he served as Regional Director for Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa at Collins Aerospace (part of RTX Corporation).

Pathak holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering alongside an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B). Beyond his corporate career, he acts as industry co-chair for the US-India Aviation Cooperation Program’s skills committee and mentors AI startups for aerospace applications.
