August 2025 : Festo India has recently announced a significant leadership change, with Mr. Ravi Sastry taking over as the new Managing Director, effective September 2025. This transition follows the retirement of Mr. Rashmikant Joshi, who is embarking on a new chapter after more than three decades of dedicated service to the company.
The company sincerely thanked Mr. Joshi for his invaluable contributions in shaping Festo India's journey and success, acknowledging his instrumental role in its growth and reputation.
Mr. Sastry, who joined Festo in 2016, has been a key driver of growth and has strengthened multiple business functions. In a statement on his appointment, he expressed his excitement, stating, "This is truly an honor to lead this company, as we embark on our next phase of growth." He extended his gratitude to the Festo leadership for the opportunity and gave a special thanks to his mentor, Mr. Joshi, for his constant support and belief in his potential.
