January 2026 : Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd. has recently announced the appointment of Sandeep Deshpande as the new Global Head of IT Security and IT Infrastructure. Deshpande, a seasoned technology leader with nearly three decades of experience, joins the company to lead its global digital backbone, including the integration of the recently acquired Heubach Colorant Group.

In his new capacity, Deshpande will oversee IT operations and cybersecurity across a massive global footprint. His mandate includes the Sudarshan operations as well as the Heubach entities in Germany and India.

Deshpande’s career is defined by long-term tenures at multinational giants. Prior to joining Sudarshan, he served as Group IT Infrastructure and Projects Head at Kirloskar Brothers Limited and held leadership roles at Whirlpool Corporation (Asia PMO) and Thermax Limited (CISO). Notably, he spent nearly 20 years at Cummins Technologies India Limited, rising from an IT Services Manager to a Global IT Service Owner. His early career included technical roles at Hexaware Technologies, Disha Technologies, Classic Touch Automation, and Systech.

An alumnus of KBP College of Engineering with a degree in Electronics (E&TC), Deshpande is an AWS Certified Architect and an expert in ITIL frameworks. He is widely recognized for his ability to navigate complex enterprise environments while driving cost savings and business outcomes.
