October 2025 : Saurabh Jain, a seasoned leader in digital transformation with over 18 years of experience in the automotive and discrete manufacturing sectors, has joined the Suzlon Group to spearhead its Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Mr. Jain has been appointed to lead the digital transformation across all of Suzlon’s manufacturing plants in India, a strategic move that underscores the renewable energy giant’s commitment to building a digitally empowered and sustainable future.

Mr. Jain's appointment follows a highly impactful seven-year tenure at Tata Motors, where he played a crucial role in laying the groundwork for digital-first manufacturing. At Tata Motors, he led complex digital programs in manufacturing operations across the Passenger, Commercial, and Electric Vehicle (EV) businesses, focusing on integrating plant operations and strengthening quality and sustainability practices.

His expertise is centered on driving Industry 4.0 adoption, with a strong focus on Smart Factories, IoT, MES/MOM platforms, and advanced analytics to deliver efficiency and resilience at scale.

Prior to Tata Motors, Mr. Jain was part of the founding leadership team at MESTECH, which was later acquired by Rockwell Automation. During his time there, he helped scale the company into a recognized global service provider for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) consulting and delivery.

Mr. Jain holds an Executive Program in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. His move to Suzlon signals a significant step in marrying decades of industrial digital experience with the rapidly expanding renewable energy sector.
