July 2025 : Tata Technologies and Emerson recently announced a strategic partnership. This collaboration aims to innovate integrated testing and validation solutions for global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) across the automotive, aerospace, and commercial vehicle sectors.
The partnership combines Tata Technologies’ deep expertise in systems engineering, E/E architecture, and mobility platform development with Emerson’s industry-leading, software-connected test and measurement solutions. The goal is to empower manufacturers to tackle the complexities of next-generation mobility, enabling the rapid, intelligent, and cost-efficient validation of software-defined, connected, electric, and autonomous vehicles. This will accelerate development cycles, reduce costs, and help OEMs deliver competitive products to market faster.
Nachiket Paranjpe, President and Head of Automotive Sales, Tata Technologies, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are thrilled to collaborate with Emerson to innovate intelligent, automated testing and validation solutions that address the growing complexity of connected, autonomous, and software-defined mobility platforms. This partnership reinforces our commitment to engineering a software-defined future, helping OEMs innovate faster, and deliver connected, autonomous, and sustainable mobility that delivers a great customer experience.”
Early results from pilot engagements underscore the potential of this collaboration. In a recent project with a European luxury OEM, the team developed EV powertrain test rigs in just five months, indicating a 67 percent faster timeline compared to the typical 15-month build. Another project with a premium European brand saw the development of a fully automated validation setup for a next-generation infotainment head-up display unit, executing over 30,000 test scenarios and significantly accelerating product development.
“This collaboration represents a powerful synergy between Emerson’s test and measurement innovation and Tata Technologies’ engineering scale,” said Shitendra Bhattacharya, Country Head and Director, Emerson’s Test and Measurement business in India. “Together, we can deliver end-to-end solutions that help customers reduce complexity and stay ahead in a highly dynamic transportation landscape.”
