January 2026 : TTK Prestige Ltd, India’s leading kitchen appliances brand, has recently announced the appointment of Balaji Kannan as Senior Deputy General Manager. Based in Coimbatore, Kannan brings over two decades of high-impact experience in plant operations, sustainability, and strategic manufacturing to the heritage brand.

Kannan’s transition to TTK Prestige comes at a pivotal time for the company as it continues to expand its manufacturing footprint and focus on operational excellence. Known for his "first-principles" approach to engineering and profit maximization, Kannan is expected to play a vital role in driving production efficiency and change management within the organization’s southern operations.

Kannan joins TTK Prestige following a distinguished six-year tenure at FORVIA. His career is a roadmap of India’s automotive and manufacturing evolution, featuring key roles at Sathya Auto - India and managerial positions at global giants Faurecia, Valeo, and MANDO Automotive India Limited. He began his professional journey with foundational roles at Sundram Fasteners Limited and TVS Rubber.

He holds a Postgraduate Degree in Management from the prestigious XLRI Delhi-NCR and a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Sustainability from IGNOU. His technical foundation includes a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, a BBA from Alagappa University, and a Diploma from Govt. Polytechnic College.
