September 2026 : Viatris has recently appointed Joe Paul Philip as Head of Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) for India, Egypt, and Turkey. In this regional position, Philip will steer teams across these vital growth markets to strengthen technical capabilities, optimize product life cycles, and ensure robust supply reliability.

Philip's transition to Viatris follows more than two decades of technical and techno-commercial leadership across complex life science platforms. His career spans key executive roles, including Vice President and Head of Global MS&T at Strides Pharma Science, Vice President and Global Head of MS&T at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, and Director of MS&T at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories. Earlier in his career, he spearheaded global operations at Sandoz in Switzerland and India, led formulation process development at USV Limited, and earned the Chairman's Special Award during an earlier tenure at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories.

On the academic front, Philip earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy from Mangalore University and a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
