“Adding Bosch Chassis Systems India Private Limited, with a future-fit vehicle motion solutions business into Bosch Limited, demonstrates our organisational belief in enhancing the company’s growth trajectory through portfolio diversification.” - Guruprasad Mudlapur, President - Bosch Group, India & Managing Director - Bosch Limited

April 2026 : Bosch Limited has recently announced its intent to bring Bosch Chassis Systems India Private Limited fully under its wing. This isn’t just a corporate merger; it’s a strategic pivot designed to create a powerhouse of "Vehicle Motion" solutions, ensuring that the cars of tomorrow are safer, smarter, and more integrated than ever before.

For drivers and manufacturers alike, this deal means a more streamlined approach to automotive technology. By acquiring 100 percent of the business through a mix of cash and equity shares, Bosch Limited is effectively bridging the gap between power solutions and vehicle safety. The move integrates market-leading technologies - ranging from anti-lock braking systems (ABS) and electronic stability control to airbag sensors - directly into Bosch Limited’s core local portfolio.

The leadership at Bosch sees this as a natural evolution of their commitment to the Indian market. Guruprasad Mudlapur, President of the Bosch Group in India, and Managing Director, Bosch Limited, highlighted the strategic importance of the move: “Adding Bosch Chassis Systems India Private Limited, with a future-fit vehicle motion solutions business into Bosch Limited, demonstrates our organisational belief in enhancing the company’s growth trajectory through portfolio diversification. This transaction further solidifies our leadership presence within mobility, enabling us to utilize our strengths and deliver solutions backed by local research and development and local manufacturing.”

Looking toward a horizon of 2030, the company is preparing for a radical shift in how we move. By uniting forces, Bosch aims to move away from being a mere component supplier to becoming a provider of comprehensive platform solutions.

Sandeep Nelamangala, Joint Managing Director, Bosch Limited, and President, Bosch Mobility India, emphasized the necessity of this synergy: “In India, we expect the mobility landscape to evolve radically by 2030 and beyond with sustainable, safe and exciting technologies. To foster a customer-first mindset and pivot from supplying individual components to delivering future-ready platform solutions, it is imperative to unite our forces and adopt an integrated approach. This transaction empowers Bosch Limited to drive growth with a wider portfolio and combined offerings across the mobility tech stack.”

With the boards of all involved entities already giving the green light, the final step rests with the shareholders. Once finalized, Bosch Limited will stand as an even more formidable partner in India’s journey toward a safer, tech-driven mobility future.
