July 2026 : BPCL has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oemeta Chemische Werke GmbH, a renowned German pioneer in industrial fluid technology. The cross-border collaboration is explicitly designed to introduce next-generation metalworking fluid technologies to the rapidly expanding Indian market.

The strategic agreement was formally signed by Mr. S. Kannan, Business Head (Lubes), BPCL, and Mr. Stefan Joksch, Managing Director - Technology and Production, Oemeta Chemische Werke GmbH.

By uniting Oemeta's established global expertise in specialized chemical formulations with BPCL’s robust in-house R&D strengths and massive domestic network, the partnership aims to deliver advanced metalworking fluid solutions tailored to the exacting demands of modern Indian machine shops and heavy industries. These high-performance fluids are essential for cooling, lubricating, and improving the efficiency of metal cutting and shaping processes across the automotive, aerospace, and general engineering sectors.
