“Our vision is to empower manufacturers with scalable, AI-driven solutions. With CIS2, MessagePub+, we are delivering a complete ecosystem for industrial innovation. Calligo is already awarded multiple patents in computer vision and has jointly worked with Telecom Centre of Excellence and Department of Telecommunications to advance IoT standards in India” - Rajaraman Subramanian, CTO - Calligo Technologies

July 2026 : To transform factory automation across Asia, Calligo Technologies has entered into a strategic collaboration with Japanese technology innovator OGIS-RI. This cross-border alliance combines Calligo's specialized Edge-AI vision system with OGIS-RI’s secure messaging software, creating a unified platform tailored for heavy-duty industrial environments.

The partnership neatly integrates Calligo’s proprietary CIS2 (Calligo Intelligent Surveillance System) with OGIS-RI’s MessagePub+ framework. MessagePub+ acts as a lightweight messaging architecture built explicitly for resource-constrained setups, ensuring full compliance with OneM2M - the premier global standard for secure Machine-to-Machine data transfers.

The resulting joint platform is aimed at two booming automation markets. India’s machine vision sector is projected to reach $1,023.2 million by 2033, fueled by greenfield smart factories popping up under government PLI (Production Linked Incentive) schemes. Concurrently, Japan’s premium industrial IoT arena is forecast to expand to $16.60 billion by 2034. By bridging edge-level visual intelligence with standardized communications, the alliance gives manufacturers a reliable blueprint to spot defects, automate quality assurance, and track real-time assembly analytics.

As part of the cross-market roadmap, OGIS-RI will introduce the integrated platform across its massive manufacturing network and actively promote Calligo’s homegrown TUNGA2.0 silicon - a robust RISC-V based System-on-Chip (SoC) designed specifically for complex AI and high-performance industrial workloads.

Speaking on the ecosystem's commercial future, Jun Funamori, General Manager of the Core Technology Dept. at OGIS-RI, remarked: “We plan to leverage our industry connections to actively promote Calligo’s TUNGA2.0 silicon - a comprehensive RISC-V based SoC designed for AI and high-performance workloads - as a complete end-to-end offering for customers. This integrated solution represents the future of Industrial IoT, combining real-time visual intelligence with standardized machine-to-machine communication,”

Rajaraman Subramanian, CTO of Calligo Technologies, emphasized their long-standing work in paving digital standards: “Our vision is to empower manufacturers with scalable, AI-driven solutions. With CIS2, MessagePub+, we are delivering a complete ecosystem for industrial innovation. Calligo is already awarded multiple patents in computer vision and has jointly worked with Telecom Centre of Excellence and Department of Telecommunications to advance IoT standards in India”
