May 2026 : Dorf-Ketal Chemicals India Limited, a global powerhouse in specialty chemicals, recently announced its successful acquisition of the Water Treatment Business of Vasu Chemicals LLP. This is one of the largest transactions ever seen in India’s industrial water treatment sector, signaling a bold new chapter for both companies as they join forces to tackle the world's industrial water challenges.

Walking into this partnership, Vasu Chemicals brings a formidable reputation and a diverse portfolio. With revenues topping USD 35 million and a ranking among India's top three players, they have spent years perfecting specialty chemicals and integrated dosing systems for a massive base of marquee government and private sector clients. For Dorf-Ketal, which holds over 600 global patents, this move is a strategic "in" to the high-stakes world of industrial water.
