July 2022 : e-Ashwa Automotive Private Limited, one of the leading and fastest growing electric vehicle manufacturing brands in the country, has announced its entry into electric auto segment with the launch of e-auto priced at Rs. 1,65,000/- (ex-Delhi showroom price). Aims to make the last-mile mobility not only convenient but also affordable and eco-friendly.

With the launch of e-auto, e-Ashwa aims to expand its electric 3-wheeler segments in order to strengthen its presence in EV. These heavy steel body e-autos will run on both Lithium Ion (3-4 hour charging time) and Lead Acid batteries (7-8 hours charging time) and available in different colors like Sky Blue, Green, Orange, Black and White.

With a mileage of 90-100 kms and a maximum speed of upto 25 kmph, this budget e-auto is a good option for existing traditional rickshaw drivers looking at better options due to rising fuel prices to shift to eco-friendly, affordable and low maintenance auto.

e-Ashwa has also launched 12 different models of electric 2-wheelers last year and has few electric 3-wheelers models under its own brand e-Ashwa. Under electric 3-wheelers, e-Ashwa has passenger 3-wheelers and cargo 3-wheelers.

For the last 4 years, e-Ashwa has been selling EV products and has so far set up 26 Assembly units at various parts of the country with 750+ team members from technical and support function background including dedicated Research and Development people. Till date, it has sold over 18,000 EV products under different categories - e-scooters, e-motorbikes, e-rickshaws, e-auto, e-loaders, e-food cart to e-garbage vehicles. It has assembly units in 16 states with a strong dealership network of over 950 dealers across the country.
