The Industry-Academia Consortium for Smart Manufacturing (IndAC-SM) will conduct a "Smart Manufacturing Workshop" on the 26th - 27th February 2021 MS Teams at 11.00 AM.

The Consortium has IIT Bombay and IIT Indore as mentoring Institutes, the University of Cambridge as International Collaboration, Industry partners Mahindra and Mahindra, SMC, John Deere to name a few. Exclusive Media Partner for IndAC-SM is Pro MFG Media.

IndAC-SM provides a platform for industries and academia to share their thoughts and learning. It also identifies problems and develops solutions for the realization of smart manufacturing or Industry 4.0.

The two-day workshop will host insightful sessions by industry stalwarts on various leading and smart manufacturing trends and initiatives. Some highlight sessions that will be conducted during the tenure of this workshop include: IndAC-SM view of Industry 4.0 by Prof. Makarand Kulkarni from IIT Bombay; A VR-based virtual training tool for smart manufacturing by Mr. Romit Patil from Techwarium India Pvt. Ltd.; Service performance prediction for better service management by Prof. Prashant Ambad and Prof. Pankaj Zine from MIT Aurangabad; A session on manufacturing analytics (promises and challenges) by Mr. Aniruddh Kadkol from Mahindra & Mahindra and many more.

The workshop can be very insightful for professionals from smart manufacturing-related roles (mid to senior level positions). The registration for the workshop can be made at no cost by sending an email to indacsm@iiti.ac.in.
