March 2026 : GE Vernova has recently announced the appointment of Jeyamani M Doss to a series of high-impact leadership positions. Doss will now serve as the General Manager for India Engineering - Gas Power and Site Leader for the prestigious John F. Welch Technology Centre (JFWTC) in Bangalore.

Beyond site leadership, Doss takes on a dual strategic mantle as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for GE Vernova India and Executive Director on the Board of GE Renewable Energy Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (GERETPL). The appointment comes at a critical juncture as the global energy landscape pivots toward more sustainable, AI-driven solutions.

Doss’s trajectory is a masterclass in long-term dedication within a single global powerhouse. With over 24 years at GE Vernova, Doss has risen through the ranks from an initial role as an Engineer in Heat Transfer & Fluid System Design in 2001 to various management and executive roles in Gas Turbine Engineering and Customer Application Engineering across Asia and MENA. Before joining GE, Doss served as a Systems Executive at the Engineering Design Centre - NIIT Ltd.

This deep industrial expertise is anchored by a formidable academic foundation, including an M.Tech in Applied Mechanics from IIT Delhi and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Bharathidasan University (MCE).
