June 2026 : JSW Energy Ltd has recently appointed Sanjay Kumar as its new Senior Vice President of Solar Projects. Operating from Mumbai, he steps into the role to provide the seasoned direction needed to navigate India's fast-evolving power landscape.

Bringing a vision to life on the ground requires a rare blend of technical precision and leadership, qualities that define his distinguished career. Over the past 25 years, he has specialized in delivering end-to-end project management solutions that champion efficiency, strict cost control, and seamless execution across renewable energy, thermal power, and massive infrastructure ventures.

Sanjay most recently served as Vice President of Project Development & Execution at Sembcorp Industries Ltd. Prior to that, he dedicated nearly a decade to Adani Green Energy Ltd. His foundational years were shaped during a ten-year tenure at Jindal Power Limited and Tata Power Company Limited.

Sanjay earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Rewa Engineering College before completing a Post Graduate Diploma Course (PGDC) specializing in Power Plants from the National Power Training Institute in Neyveli. He has also sharpened his strategic capabilities at the prestigious Indian School of Business.
