February 2026 : In a move that marks a new era for warehouse automation in the Asia-Pacific region, international technology group Körber has officially acquired the remaining stake in Godrej Körber Supply Chain Limited. Previously a joint venture with Godrej & Boyce, the Mumbai-based entity is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Körber.

This strategic acquisition solidifies Körber’s presence in India, transforming the local arm into a primary hub for regional development. Since its inception, the partnership has successfully merged Körber’s global technological prowess with Godrej’s intricate knowledge of the Indian market. The company has become a linchpin for intelligent warehouse automation, serving critical sectors including e-commerce, FMCG, and pharmaceuticals.

By fully integrating the Indian operations, Körber aims to provide local customers with direct access to its global ecosystem of R&D, robotics, and software innovations. The transition is designed to accelerate the deployment of world-class automation tailored to the unique complexities of the Indian supply chain.
