June 2026 : L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Amity University Bengaluru. This partnership is designed to foster a robust industry-academia collaboration, driving cutting-edge research and equipping the next generation of engineers with high-demand tech skills.
At the heart of this newly formed alliance is the establishment of a dedicated E-Mobility Centre of Excellence on the Amity University campus. This specialized center will serve as a launchpad for innovation, building a dynamic ecosystem where students, researchers, and industry experts can cross-pollinate ideas. The core focus will center heavily on electric mobility, advanced industrial automation, and next-generation sensing systems - areas currently redefining the global engineering landscape.
Recognizing that real-world exposure is vital for modern tech education, both institutions are rolling out a comprehensive roadmap for hands-on engagement. Under the MoU, the collaboration will pave the way for joint research projects, immersive student and faculty exchange programs, specialized workshops, and regular guest lectures from industry veterans. Furthermore, Amity students will gain direct access to internships and exclusive innovation initiatives, including participation in TECHgium®, the highly acclaimed flagship talent program by LTTS.
The formal signing ceremony in Bengaluru brought together key leaders from both sides who share a common vision for purposeful innovation. Representing the forward-thinking vision of LTTS were Dr. Guru Prasad AS., Vasu Manavalan, Nikhil Dev B R., and Dr. S V S Phani Kumar Ch.
