January 2026 : PGP Glass Pvt. Ltd. has recently announced the appointment of Santosh Rai as its new Global Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO). A veteran in the technology leadership space, Mr. Rai will lead the company’s global digital strategy and information technology initiatives. With over two decades of experience, Mr. Rai is recognized for driving large-scale digital transformations, SAP re-implementations, and greenfield IT infrastructure projects. His expertise spans IT strategy, cybersecurity, and data governance within complex manufacturing environments.

Prior to joining PGP Glass, Mr. Rai served as the Chief Information Officer at Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS) for over seven years. His distinguished career includes senior leadership tenures at several marquee organizations, including Vardhman Textiles, International Tractors Limited (Sonalika Group), Asia Motor Works (AMW), VE Commercial Vehicles Limited (VECV), Volkswagen India, and AVTEC Ltd.

In his new role at PGP Glass, Mr. Rai is expected to leverage his deep industry acumen to accelerate IT-led business initiatives and enhance the organization's global digital footprint.
