Oct 2026 : The Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Limited (SMIORE) - the flagship enterprise of the Royal Sandur Group - has officially entered the healthcare landscape. Its wholly owned subsidiary, Royal Sandur MedTech Private Limited, signed a long-term land lease at the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) in Visakhapatnam to set up a medical devices and consumables manufacturing facility.

Executed in October 2026, with Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone Limited, the deal secures 6.2 acres (approx. 25,090 square metres) of fully developed land equipped with essential power, water, road, and effluent infrastructure. The agreement spans a 33-year lease, with an exclusive provision to convert the land into freehold ownership ten years after commercial operations begin. Additionally, the company has secured office space at World Trade Center AMTZ to fast-track project development.

This venture marks a major milestone in SMIORE’s multi-sector diversification roadmap.
