Sigma Engineered Solutions Wins Three Excellence Awards from Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance

April 2024 : Sigma Engineered Solutions was presented with three Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Excellence Awards from the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) at an award ceremony held at the International Business Center in Kyoto, Japan. TPM is the maintenance technique that focuses on equipment and people to achieve Zero losses and improve productivity in all company functions.
The three Sigma Units which received these awards are:
Unit II Pune – A2/A3 Plant
Unit III Pune -A4 Plant
VKIA Jaipur – J0, J1, J2 and J3 plant
“Over the past five years, the teams at Pune and Jaipur have exhibited unwavering dedication and focus towards fostering a culture of excellence and achievement,” said Niteen Inamdar, Chief Operating Officer of Sigma Engineered Solutions.
It is no small feat to win one of these awards. The criteria for these awards are not companywide, but JIPM judges each Unit, and Sigma was visited on two occasions for evaluations carried out by JIPM assessors from Japan to ensure we are focused on equipment and people to achieve Zero losses and improve productivity in all company functions.
