Nov 2026 : Subros Limited, India’s leading auto air-conditioning and thermal management manufacturer, has officially commenced commercial operations at its brand-new greenfield manufacturing facility in Kharkhoda, Sonipat district, Haryana.

The plant adds a substantial production capacity of 4.5 lakh units per annum dedicated to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems as well as hoses and tubes. Built with an approximate investment of ₹150 Crores - financed through a mix of internal accruals and debt - the expansion is aimed directly at meeting surging customer demand by establishing local manufacturing hubs closer to key original equipment manufacturer (OEM) bases.

The Kharkhoda unit marks a major operational milestone in the company’s broader growth strategy. Beyond boosting production volumes and anticipated top-line revenue in the coming years, the plant advances Subros’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing through modern technical innovation and enhanced operational capabilities tailored for future mobility solutions.

Founded in 1985 as a joint venture between the Suri family of India, DENSO Corporation, and Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, Subros stands as the only integrated manufacturer in India covering the entire auto AC loop. Operating in technical collaboration with DENSO, the company produces compressors, condensers, heat exchangers, and connecting components for passenger vehicles, buses, trucks, refrigerated transport, and railways.

This latest capacity addition reinforces Subros’s readiness to cater to evolving mobility requirements while cementing its dominance in the country's automotive thermal management segment.
