December 2025 : APAR Industries Limited, a global titan in the electrical and power sectors, has officially appointed Mr. Chandrashekhar Shrotri as the new Chief Executive Officer of its Cables Business. The appointment, effective early December, signals APAR’s intent to aggressively scale its global footprint and accelerate its digital transformation journey.

With a career spanning four decades, Mr. Shrotri is a heavyweight in the manufacturing and energy ecosystems. He has successfully navigated complex markets across India, ASEAN, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, delivering consistent growth and leading multi-country organisations through periods of intense industrial change.

Mr. Shrotri joins APAR following a distinguished 23-year tenure at Siemens, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President. His career also includes significant leadership roles at Larsen & Toubro (L&T), BCH Electric, Pefco Industries, and a foundational stint at Sandvik.

His academic background is equally robust. A Diploma holder in Electrical Engineering from Government Polytechnic, Pune, Mr. Shrotri has consistently sharpened his leadership edge at world-class institutions. He is an alumnus of the IIM Bangalore and Harvard Business School, and has completed advanced global leadership programs at Siemens’ centres in Germany and China.
