November 2023 : The Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) has opened registration for the 2024 edition of its flagship biennial international event - Symposium on International Automotive Technology (SIAT). Highly regarded within the global automotive fraternity as a leading international event, SIAT serves as a prominent platform for exchange of ideas, knowledge, technologies and collaborative brainstorming within the automotive industry, attracting distinguished experts from various automotive domains across the world.
“I am delighted to announce that the forthcoming edition of SIAT, viz. SIAT 2024, the 18 in the series, is being organized by ARAI, in association with SAEINDIA and SAE International (USA), at Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre (PIECC), Moshi, Pune, India, from 23 – 25 January 2024. Theme of SIAT 2024 is “Transformation Towards Progressive Mobility”. Historically, SIAT Symposia have attracted large gatherings of automotive experts, featuring technical papers and keynotes, panel discussions, significant delegate participation and impressive exposition. In view of overwhelming response and the expanded scope of activities as well as to give due emphasis to Advanced Automotive Technologies, the size of the Symposium is sizeably Increased,” said Dr. Reji Mathai, Director-ARAI and Chairman SIAT 2024 Advisory Committee.
SIAT 2024 will highlight recent advancements across various automotive domains, including Safety, Emissions, Engines, Noise, Electric Mobility, Fuel Cell, Electronics, Intelligent Transportation, Vehicle Dynamics, Materials, Alternate Fuels, Simulation and Modelling, etc. It will also showcase innovative ideas and solutions in automotive technology to address future challenges, making it an intellectually stimulating event. SIAT has been receiving overwhelming response for technical papers and keynotes. It is proposed to have presentation of over 200 technical papers, including keynotes on futuristic topics, by renowned experts from world-over. The papers presented in the Symposium will be published as Symposium Proceedings. Additionally, Technical Reference Bulletin, featuring technical articles, case studies and information about products and services will be published.
