July 2025 : Bharat Forge Limited (BFL) recently announced the successful completion of its acquisition of AAM India Manufacturing Private Limited (AAM India). This finalizes the transaction initially announced on October 17, 2024, following the approval received from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) on April 22, 2025

The acquisition was concluded at an Equity Value of ₹7,464.6 million, which includes a cash balance of ₹1,894.8 million on the books of the acquired entity. This cash is earmarked for addressing future growth opportunities. The final equity value remains subject to Net Working Capital adjustments as of June 30, 2025.

Bharat Forge stated that AAM India holds a formidable reputation in the automotive products space, supplying to all major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) across both traditional and New Mobility technologies. This strategic acquisition will enable Bharat Forge to significantly complement its existing component offerings with comprehensive product solutions for OEMs in India and globally.

This move underscores Bharat Forge's commitment to expanding its portfolio and strengthening its position in the evolving automotive landscape, driven by advancements in new mobility technologies.
