March 2025 : Global industrial AI leader Cognite has officially launched its India Center of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru, reinforcing its commitment to India's fast-growing manufacturing and industrial ecosystem. The new CoE will serve as a hub for delivering AI-powered solutions to India’s asset-intensive sectors.
The inauguration comes as Cognite CEO Girish Rishi joined government and industry leaders at the prestigious Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi, hosted by Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Rishi also participated in a strategic roundtable on energy solutions with Hon. Minister Shri Piyush Goyal, underscoring Cognite’s alignment with India’s economic and industrial goals.

Cognite’s India roadmap supports the ‘Make in India’ initiative and IndiaAI Mission, with plans to hire over 100 AI/ML, data science, and engineering professionals. The company is also partnering with local education and industry groups to strengthen the domestic AI ecosystem.
