March 2026 : In a strategic move that underscores the importance of operational excellence in the evolving automotive and mobility sectors, Eaton Mobility Group has recently announced the appointment of Bhushan Mahale as the new Plant Manager for its Ahilyanagar facility, effective April 1, 2026.
With a career spanning over 25 years, Mahale is a seasoned leader in supply chain management and procurement. He transitions into this leadership role at what is widely recognized as a "model plant" within the Eaton ecosystem. In his new capacity, Mahale will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations, driving business performance, and ensuring the facility meets its profitability and people-centric objectives.
Mahale’s professional narrative is one of steady ascent and global exposure. Before stepping into the Plant Manager role, he served as the General Manager for Eaton’s Procurement Mobility Group in India and the Rest of Asia. His extensive tenure at Eaton has seen him navigate various high-stakes roles, including Senior Regional Category Manager in Maumee, Ohio, and Global Turned Parts Category Manager in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. His career also includes pivotal early experience at Eaton Global Sourcing GMBH, where he led supplier development and global sourcing projects.
This deep operational expertise is backed by a robust academic foundation. Mahale holds a Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from Mumbai University, a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Shri Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic, and a Higher National Diploma in Business Management from the Welingkar Institute of Management.
