Companies to establish Joint Venture to introduce Gogoro’s Battery-swapping network In India and Hero will develop Gogoro-powered vehicles for the Indian market.

Hero MotoCorp and Gogoro Inc have inked a partnership to accelerate the shift to sustainable electric mobility in India. Gogoro is a leader in battery-swapping technology and has experience in setting up large networks while Hero MotoCorp is the largest manufacturer of two-wheelers across the world. The companies will establish a battery swapping joint venture to bring Gogoro’s industry leading battery swapping platform to India and will collaborate on electric vehicle development to bring Hero-branded, powered by Gogoro Network vehicles to market.
