July 2026 : John Cockerill India has officially inaugurated its brand-new Rolls Coating Facility at Taloja. This workshop marks a significant milestone in expanding the company's Value Services, bringing next-generation surface engineering directly to steel producers across India and South-East Asia.

The facility is built to handle the intense wear-and-tear environments that steel processing demands. Equipped with New-Gen High-Pressure High-Velocity Air Fuel (HP-HVAF) coating capability, the workshop offers a complete, single-roof ecosystem for steel processing rolls. This includes everything from initial inspections and precision grinding to thermal coating, dynamic balancing, and stringent quality control.

By partnering with Belgian pioneer Advanced Coating (Advco) - a specialist in surface engineering since 1985 - John Cockerill India is merging its deep industrial steel processing footprint with world-class thermal spray technology. The collaboration offers a clear, practical mission: help steel manufacturers extend the active lifespan of their rolls, elevate the quality of their steel strips, slash maintenance downtime, and optimize overall plant performance.
