May 2026 : Andhra Pradesh is taking a massive leap forward in high-tech manufacturing. Raghu Vamsi Machine Tools Pvt Ltd has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) to set up a sprawling Aerospace & Defence (A&D) manufacturing facility in the state.

The agreement came to life in the presence of Hon'ble Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh Ji and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu. More than just a corporate expansion, the project is a significant step toward strengthening India’s indigenous aerospace and defence manufacturing ecosystem while accelerating industrial growth across Andhra Pradesh.

Spanning an impressive 100 acres, the proposed advanced facility will focus on precision manufacturing with a planned investment of Rs 500 Crores. Beyond the advanced machinery and concrete, the human impact is substantial: the project is expected to create nearly 1,000 direct jobs and an additional 2,000 indirect employment opportunities through ancillary industries and supply chains. The hub will feature cutting-edge facilities for micro turbojet engines, UAV manufacturing, and a dedicated flight validation range.

Bringing a visionary perspective to the expansion, Mr. Vamsi Vikas Ganesula, Managing Director of Raghu Vamsi Machine Tools Pvt Ltd, shared his enthusiasm for the state's potential: “This MoU marks a defining milestone in our growth journey as we expand our capabilities in aerospace and defence manufacturing.
