July 2026 : Varun Beverages Limited (VBL) has recently appointed Srinivasan Sourirajan as Chief Manufacturing Officer. In his new leadership role, Sourirajan will drive the company’s manufacturing strategy, engineering, operational excellence, capacity expansion, and transformation initiatives, reinforcing production capabilities across its global operations.

The appointment comes at a crucial time as Varun Beverages continues to scale its manufacturing footprint. Bringing a strong focus on continuous improvement, automation, and sustainable supply chains, Sourirajan is set to spearhead the next phase of manufacturing innovation and efficiency for the beverage giant.

With over 30 years of cross-border experience across India, Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific, and South Asia, Sourirajan has built a distinguished career managing end-to-end operations in the FMCG, food, and industrial sectors. Prior to joining Varun Beverages, he served as Vice President - Manufacturing & Engineering at Pernod Ricard India. Earlier, he spent over 16 years at Perfetti Van Melle in key leadership roles, including International Projects Director and Regional Factory Head. His career also includes foundational engineering and operational roles at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Union Carbide.

Sourirajan holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bharathidasan University.
