Amit Paithankar Assumes the Role of Wholetime Director and CEO at Waaree Group

Prior to joining Waaree Group, Paithankar served as the Group President and Member of the Management Board at ReNew.

March 2025 : Waaree Energies Limited, a leading solar module manufacturer in India, has announced the appointment of Amit Paithankar as its Wholetime Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective March 2025. Paithankar brings over 25 years of extensive leadership experience in technology and industrial sectors to Waaree Group.

Prior to joining Waaree Group, Paithankar served as the Group President and Member of the Management Board at ReNew. He has also spent 20 years at Emerson, where he held various senior leadership roles, including Vice President Advanced Design Center and Managing Director South Asia, and Vice President Sales for the Asia Pacific region. Notably, he successfully led the repositioning of Emerson's South Asia operations for growth and drove significant sales expansion in the APAC region.

Paithankar holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, a Master of Business Administration from the London School of Business and Finance (LSBF), and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BEE) from VJTI.
