December 2025 : APAR Industries Limited, a global leader in conductors, cables, and specialty oils, has recently announced the strategic appointment of Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Dr. Singh, a seasoned HR veteran with over three decades of experience, will lead the company’s people strategy as it continues to expand its footprint across 140 countries.
His mandate includes overseeing workforce transformation, leadership development, and aligning the company’s human capital with its ambitious international growth goals.
Dr. Singh enters the role with a formidable track record of building resilient organizations across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. Most recently, he served as the Joint President of HR, Admin & PR at UltraTech Cement in the UAE.
Dr. Singh’s career is a roadmap of leadership within major industrial conglomerates. Before joining UltraTech, he spent nearly a decade at the Aditya Birla Group, holding senior roles at Thai Acrylic Fibre Co. (Birlacril™) and Thai Rayon. His earlier professional journey includes pivotal HR leadership roles at: AmbujaNeotia Group, Ambuja Cements Ltd., Daewoo International Corporation and at Hilton Rubbers Limited.
His professional success is backed by a distinguished academic background. Dr. Singh holds a Ph.D. in Human Resources Development from Burapha University, Thailand, and a Master’s in Organisation Development from Assumption University of Thailand. He began his journey with a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Amravati University and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Government College Korba.
